Where and how to use

Where and how it’s made
Each authentic zellige tile is handmade in Fez, Morocco. Zellige tiles are based on centuries of tradition and characterized by their irregularities and imperfections. The beautiful flaws and variation are the result of hand-molding, cutting and glazing. Like snowflakes, no two Zellige tiles are alike.
Warranty
What makes zellige tile so appealing and honest is that each piece is individually handmade. As such, each piece cannot be made identical, as if it were from a machine churning out repeatable parts.
Natural variations will occur in your tile; colour shade, fine cracks and other small imperfections are all to be expected. These variations contribute to their appeal without compromising the performance and integrity of the tile. We offer all our customers free samples to ensure they are getting exactly what is presented in the online store.
If you are at all unsure about the colour, style or shape of a tile, be sure to request a sample prior to ordering. Your order will show up matched to the sample sent to you, within the allotted colour variations that come with Geon zellige tiles.

In Stock. In Canada.
We’re proud to stock beautiful handmade tile in Canada – solving a problem that has plagued designers, architects, and DIY’ers for decades. Gone are the days of waiting months for quality and beauty. And no longer do you need to settle on the cheap alternatives because shipping and duties put your favourite tile out of your budget.
Add to that, the Geon Tile collection is proudly designed right here in Canada. Our design team draws on inspiration from the natural world, classic styles and various epochs. Staying true to our core design principles ensures we create attractive tiles and patterns that don’t bow to trends and endure as timeless works of art.
Environmental Impact
We don’t hide that Geon Tile pollutes the planet. Tile is challenging to manufacture in Canada because of limited access to raw materials and pigments. Add to that, it is bulky and heavy, and thus not very efficient to ship. Climate change and its effects are putting humanity’s survival at risk. And the construction industry is one of the largest contributors.
Reducing our environmental impact has been a top priority since day one. Geon Tile has partnered with Climate Smart for accurate measurement, reporting and certification as we work diligently to minimize our footprint. We measure everything that contributes to our carbon footprint, from the factory floor to the packaging that your order arrives in.
As we work to drive our emissions to zero, we believe that we should be held accountable for our environmental impact. So until we reach our goal of zero, we’re taxing ourselves for the carbon we do emit, and investing in carbon offsets to fund projects that neutralize our footprint. When choosing Geon Tile you can open the box on your doorstep with even greater satisfaction knowing that the environmental impact of each tile is fully accounted for and will be offset.
